I made a House a Home, and it’s in House & Home Magazine

This article warms my heart for many reasons.  This house and couple were my partners in crime on HGTV’s Marriage Under Construction, documenting the design and reno in a 13 episode series.  (You can watch it online now at HGTV.ca or HGTV.com) Producing a TV series is a time-consuming process that has you spending more time together than not.  A situation that could be tough if you don’t get so well with your counterparts.  Lucky for me, I adore Rodney and Natalie.  We created a pretty spectacular home together that really defines them and their family.

I’m lucky to be a part of their extended family now, and together with my family get to eat Rodney’s cooking and hang out with them at home on a few of the kinda-famous Sunday dinners.  House and Home Magazine visited them at home for one of these dinners and captured Rodney at work in his kitchen.  Lucky for you, he’s shared the recipes and a few of his favorite trade secrets with H&H.  Pick up the November issue on news stands now for the glossy paged, proper view of it.

Rodney and I are cooking up a few things of our own.   Keep an eye out for what sorts of mischief the two of us are getting up to next……….you can be sure there will be food, trouble and good design 😉
