  1. Dear Scott, We are HGTV junkies and enjoy what you do immensely. We have about 1600 sf of basement that needs to be built out into living quarters, with kitchen, office space, gym included. The space has hvac installed, electrical panel with a few convenience outlets, various shop types of flouroescent 2×4 fixtures, the exit doors are now solid HM, with 2 ea. 24 x 60 window. We have used the basement as rough storage and tools. There is a walk space behind the basement that can be used to store all the tools and implements. The bathroom is presently framed and roughed-in, but fixtures haven’t be set. I would like to start some dialogue with you on how to complete the transition into a neat, functional space. It may not be suitable as an income property becuase of our neighborhood restrictions and single metering. It would be great for one of our siblings to live and give me the finished office and move the gym down as well. Please get back with us when you get a break in the action. We will be glad to send you spatial sketches any time. The weather here on the Gulf Coast is very appealing compared to Canada right now. Best regards, Wayne and Peggy Hooton
